Frequently Asked Questions
What format do you deliver courses in?
You can take our courses online or in-person at our training facility in downtown Vancouver. Currently, due to the COVID-19 situation, our In-Person training is suspended. Our online courses are interactive and delivered by an experienced Instructor. We do not train using pre-recorded videos.
I am an Excel user and not sure if I should take Level-1 or Level-2?
To do Excel Level-2 directly, one must have experience with Excel using basic formulas, functions, and absolute and relative cell references. Simple data entry experience may not be enough. Some participants without this experience may find Level-2 a bit steep. Accordingly, take the level you will feel comfortable with. Most people with only data entry experience benefit by taking both Level-1 and Level-2.
How much are your course fees?
Different courses and levels have different prices. All of our courses on this website have their prices displayed next to the respective course icon. All prices are in Canadian dollars before tax. Taxes are added in the shopping cart.
When is your next “XYZ” course?
When you click on a course of interest, you will be taken to the product page for that course. A drop-down next to the course price will display all the available dates.
How long are your courses?
Most courses are one day long (9AM-to-5PM). A few courses are half-a-day long (9AM-to-1PM). For the convenience of west coast attendees, we have courses that start at 9AM Pacific Time (Vancouver) and for those on the east coast, 9AM Eastern Time (Toronto).
How do I register for a course?
Please click on the course of your choice. Make further selection regarding the class start time and the course date on the product page and add to the shopping cart. In like manner, add more courses of interest. At the checkout, make sure you enter the name of the course attendee, their email address and their cellphone number before making the payment.

Yes, of course we do.
Do you offer customized courses?
Sure. We are happy to customize a course for a group of employees in your organization. Please send us an email with your specific training needs.
Do students share a computer in the class?
In our physical classroom there is no computer sharing. Each student has a separate laptop connected to an external keyboard and an external mouse for speedy work.
What are the prerequisites for taking your courses?
If you are taking a higher-level course, you are expected to have taken the earlier level recently or have work experience with the required skills.
Are your courses slow-paced or fast-paced?
Since one-day format courses are intensive, they are not slow-paced. They happen to be medium-to-fast-paced, since a lot of content has to be covered in a short period. However, our courses come with a course manual and custom-made course files. These are great resources for consolidating and refreshing the classroom learning at a later date.
Do you offer evening or weekend courses?
No, we do not. All our courses are on weekdays. However, you have the choice of taking a course that starts at 9AM Eastern Time (Toronto) or 9AM Pacific Time (Vancouver).
I have a MAC. Do you offer training for MAC users?
All our training is delivered on a PC /Windows platform since a majority of office staff works with Windows PCs.
