Frequently Asked Questions

We Make OnLine Training as Good as In-Person Training

You can take all our courses online from your home or workplace. If your organization has a bunch of employees to be trained, we can deliver the training in-person at your office in Canada. Our online training is as good as in-person training. It is interactive and delivered by a Microsoft Certified Trainer and other experienced instructors. We do not train using pre-recorded videos.

To do Excel Intermediate directly, one must have experience with Excel using basic formulas, functions, and absolute and relative cell references. Simple data entry experience may not be enough. Some participants without this experience may find Intermediate Level a bit steep. Accordingly, take the level you will feel comfortable with. Most people with only data entry experience benefit by taking both Beginner and Intermediate Levels.

Different courses and levels have different prices.  All our courses on this website have their prices displayed next to the respective course icons. All prices are in Canadian dollars before tax. Taxes are added in the shopping cart.

When you click on a course of interest, you will be taken to the product page for that course. A drop-down next to the course price will display all the available dates. There are separate dates for the Pacific and Eastern Time zones.

Most courses are one day long (9AM-to-5PM). A few courses are half-a-day long (9AM-to-1PM or 2PM). For the convenience of west coast attendees, we have courses starting at 9AM Pacific Time (Vancouver) and for those on the east coast, 9AM Eastern Time (Toronto).

Please click on the course of your choice. Make further selection regarding the class start time and the course date on the product page and add to the shopping cart. At the checkout, make sure you enter the name of the course attendee, their email address and cellphone number before making the payment.

When we deliver onsite training with our mobile computer lab, there is no computer sharing. Each attendee has a separate laptop connected to an external keyboard and an external mouse for speedy work.

Attendees must have a good work experience with Windows PC. If you are taking a higher-level course, you are expected to have taken the earlier level recently or have work experience with the required skills.

One-day format courses are not slow-paced. They happen to be intensive and medium-to-fast-paced, as a lot of content must be covered in a short time frame. However, our courses come with a course manual and custom-made course files. These are great resources for consolidating and refreshing the classroom learning later.

No, we do not. All our courses are on weekdays. However, you have the choice of taking a course that starts at 9AM Eastern Time (Toronto) or 9AM Pacific Time (Vancouver), if that helps.

All our training is delivered on Windows PC platform since most office employees work with Windows PC. Additionally, certain advanced features of Excel are not available on MAC.

On our website, our payment processor accepts most major cards and wallets.
